Prayer Walk - East Route

Prayer Walk Process

  • Review the Prayer Walking Tips below.
  • Pray for God to reveal His heart for this area.
  • Follow the route with some prayer walk partners; pray and listen for what God is revealing. Use the provided Reflection Questions to guide you.
  • At the end of the route (half-way point before you walk back), stop and pray as a group.
  • Continue to listen to what the Holy Spirit reveals to you as you walk back to the sanctuary.

  • What might be the physical needs of people in this area?
  • What might be the emotional needs of people in this area?
  • What might be the spiritual needs of people in this area?
  • What does tov (good) look like in this community?

Prayer Walk Tips

Prepare your heart
 "My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
 a broken and contrite heart
 you, God, will not despise."

Remove any barriers that might hinder your connection with God.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins
 and purify us from all unrighteousness."

Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and lead you
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." ~ Acts 1:8

Pray God’s blessings on the people you see, or who live and work in the buildings you pass

Salvation – love, forgiveness

Healing

Reverse the works of the enemy and to cause life to spring up.
