Through the NLA Justice Ministry, we invite members of our church to actively participate in works of justice and mercy in our communities and beyond. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our ongoing activities were placed on hold due to restrictions to gatherings. Now, we are re-forming our justice engagement plan for our church as we setup service and learning opportunities for people of all ages.
At Newsong LA, we believe that working toward social justice and acts of mercy are an integral part of the Christian faith and an expression of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Concern for justice has deep roots in Scripture and reflects God's desire for the wholeness and wellbeing of all people and of our world.
